Oceans in Peril

My series, “Oceans in Peril”, incorporates plastic bits discarded on beaches. Walking on the beaches of Mexico opened my eyes to the issue of polluting the beaches and oceans of the world. These plastic bits are making their way into the food chain. Each piece has a story and I integrate them into collages featuring beaches, jellyfish, fish and other sea life. They are imbedded in a resin finish.
